YOUR CONSULTATION
Your lip blush journey begins with a consultation to discuss your desired colour, assess suitability and explain the treatment process. We'll complete a medical questionnaire and any necessary patch testing before your appointment.
COLOUR BOOSTS
Over time, your lip colour will gradually soften. A colour boost can help refresh the tone and definition of your semi-permanent lip treatment, with timing tailored to your individual results.
THE PMU EDIT
A little preparation goes a long way.
BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT
Arrive with clean, hydrated lips and follow the preparation advice provided at your consultation. Please let us know if you have a history of cold sores, as preventative treatment may be recommended by your healthcare professional.
THE HEALING PROCESS
Your lips may initially appear brighter or darker than the final result. Some swelling, dryness and flaking can occur as they heal, with the colour gradually softening and settling over the following weeks.
YOUR PERFECTING APPOINTMENT
A perfecting appointment is recommended around 4–8 weeks after your initial treatment to assess healing and refine your results. This appointment is charged separately at £60.
LONG-TERM CARE
Keep your lips moisturised and protected from the sun once healed. Colour retention varies depending on your skin, lifestyle and aftercare, and occasional colour boosts may be needed.
